NEW BAG HARDWARE
Well we have finally arrived.
It took us some time to get everything organized, but we have now put ourselves on the "map". We are now offering relative hardware when it comes to bag making, or any other craft that requires that something extra.
We are taking baby steps. One thing at a time, no rush. We do this because we want to offer the best, and be the best at what we do. I've been a Handbag maker and designer for some time. What I struggled with was getting the materials and hardware in Canada, at Canadian prices, and shipped Canadian. So much money has been spent on international shipping, US shipping and cost versus the Canadian Dollar, and even at times duty tax at the border.
We brainstormed for quite some time on how to get the product that was needed, and still maintain a very low cost to consumers. We believe we have achieved that. And not only for Canadians, but for other countries as well. Even in the United States, being their dollar is stronger, would pay much less ordering from Canada. So with that part of the mission accomplished, we have finally enable Andar Handbags online store to carry hardware.
We chose to start with zipper by the yard. One of my most favorite things because of it's personality when making bags. Gone are the days of just black zippers, or buying expensive zippers from your local craft/fabric store. Now you can use the length required rather than available.
We carry the #5 Nylon Coil Zipper by the yard in various colors of tape. We will expand as the need arises, there is so many colors we would offer. At this time, we have 7 various colors with each their own various teeth. Zipper teeth can come in Gold, Silver, Rainbow and Rose Gold. We have every intention on carrying a full line shortly.
We now also sell Zipper pulls in various styles and colors. We currently carry three styles, and have Silver, Rose Gold, Gold and Rainbow. These just add that extra ummmph to any project. They are classic, timeless and original all at once. Bag makers can certainly understand what it means to make their bags stand out.
We chose the #5 nylon coil for it's versatility. It is durable, professional, but more importantly easy to sew through. It is much easier on your sewing machine than metal. You will surely break less needles, if none at all. I personally have never had a Handbag that Zipper issues, and that's why we chose the #5 nylon.
